1st 1997. Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Large square format. First book by the author. Looking at his art works so far, expressed in his own words, and illustrated by his own selection of over 700 images, pop-ups and special inserts. Front joint is a bit cracked. Two pop-up/moveable pieces have come unglued - but could be repaired with double-sided sticky tape. Many inserts present and original sticker sheet - but no list to discover if any are missing - assumed all present. Wrapper is faded to spine with some edge-creasing. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

About the Author

Born in Bristol in 1965, Damien Hirst studied at Goldsmith’s College, London. In 1988 he curated the now renowned exhibition, Freeze’, held in London. In 1991, he had his first solo exhibition in London entitled In and Out of Love’ and the following year he was a major part of the groundbreaking Young British Artists exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery, London. He was awarded the prestigious Turner Prize, London in 1995. Hirst’s work has been shown in many important group and solo shows throughout the world. He lives and works in Devon, London and Mexico.
