First edition. Two volumes, complete. viii, 418; viii, 468 pp. Each illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and title page and plates. 19 cm. In contemporary half calf and marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. With moderate scuffing to the leather and rubbing to the boards, else very good. The text pages are clean and tight.
