4to 11" - 13" tall; 130 pages; 1st edition, 1st impression. Snugly bound in a late 19th century binding of 1/2 polished calf and marbled paper boards; norocco title label to spine. With original haolf0title page present. 1st state of two known of the 1st impression; line 2 of page 3 begins "May swell" .With two pages of publisher ads integral at rear with imprint at the foot of the terminal page. Polished calf bumped and bruised at front corners; tail likewise bumped with some light abrasion and mild fray. Front external hinge wearing with partial split starting. Scattered light to moderate foxing. Endsheets added with 19th century binding. Todd Bowden 59Ab. VG- . Oversize book may require additional charges for expedited or international shipping.
