Absolutely beautiful illuminated plates. Super book. Condition: Slip case slight scrap on illustration top right. General age discolouration front and back. Boards slight blooming. o/p slight age discolouration spots mostly ghosted from a scrap of paper with a translation of a Dutch dedication. Dedication first free opening page top right corner, dated Xmas 1972, in neat ink handwriting. The translation reads: What I have seen. I have seen in you. Whatever I have learned. I have learned through you. In you I have found what I lacked in myself. Remainder of book appears unused. Clean, tight binding, good colour, illustrations vibrant.
