82 S. Das Buch ist in exzellentem, sauberen Zustand. Buch ist wie neu, aus priv. Vorbesitz, ungelesen. -----Inhalt. Promise in German offers the expanded version of the speech that Peter Sloterdijk gave in a matinee of the Munich Chamber Games on Sunday, December 10, 1989. It goes without saying that the dramatic events of November 1989 form the frame of reference for all statements of the present text. The current results have made it inevitable to put forward this speech about one's own country as a speech to the German nation. Such an addressing does not follow so much the questionable rhetorical model Fichte; rather, it arises from the author's considerations on the connection between language and nationality. The historical circumstances of 1989 are no less remarkable than those of 1808. But it is today in the nature of the matter that one must turn to the relatives of a nation that has become restless again to say something about the.
