this is a Victorian bound collection of various music compositions for the Violin and Piano which originally belonged to a to an Ethel C. Kennedy, which she has had bound together in a limp full vellum binding, with her name to the lower corner of the cover and dated 1893 a number are by the German composer Bernard Althaus, one of which he has personally signed (see pictures) the book measures just over 13 inches tall and contains around 13 compositions, the vellum is darkened and marked, a noticeable bump to top corner of upper cover that that also affected the top corners of a number of pages within, some foxing and marking, the signed composition has had paint applied to the leading edge of the marked cover (see pictures) a couple of small tears, some edge loss to some plain page margins, some neat paper strengthening to page edges of one piece, else in acceptable condition, this is a larger that average book, overseas shipping costs will be higher than the basic standard quote.
