Hardcover in black cloth with gilt stamped titles to spine and front, series/publisher's blindstamped emblem to lower front, in yellow and black jacket, 8vo. xxxiv + 324pp. Index, appendices, footnotes throughout. Intrduction by Lippmann (pp. vii-xxv). VG+/G. Book has lightly bumped corner, somewhat heavier upper rear with no associated damage; well-toned pages clean and unmarked. Cloth sharp and clean; spine titles slightly dulled but still strong and quite bright, front titles very bright. Binding and hinges tight and square. Shelving soil upper and lower page edges, latter with some foxing. Unclipped jacket has abrasion along upper and lower edges and spine ends with shallow chips all around; somewhat larger chips (none deeper than 1/2") at upper spine over front hinge and tip of upper front corner; closed tears internally tape-repaired along edges; central panels soiled and rubbed though bright colors and titles still strong and clear with no fading (see/request seller's scan).
