Boston: Privately Printed By D. B. Updike at The Merrymount Press, 1901. First edition, 1901. Memorial to a young man, a devout Christian Scientist, who drowned in Lake Superior at the age of 19. Beautifully made book, blue hardcover, linen spine with paper spine label, untrimmed page edges, 191 pages, without the slipcase. Very good condition with some uneven fading to the front cover, good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages, no names or other markings. Unread and unopened copy, with most of the outer page edges still connected. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
