Pp.136, frontispiece + 14 further colour plates by Arthur Rackham, green illustrations to endpapers, a few minor light spots, gift message to front free endpaper, armorial bookplate ("Tennant of Chapel House") to inner front endpaper. Dark blue cloth, gilt decorated title to spine, gilt title and illustrated 'Undine' motif to front board, sligh sunning to spine with minor wear to top and tail. VG.** Bookplate of Tennant of Chapel House (in the parish of Kilnsey, Yorkshire). Arms: Ermine, two bars each per pale gules and sable charged with three bezants two and one. Motto: Tenax et Fidelis ("Tenacious and Faithful"). Crest: Between two wings gules each charged with a bezant a sword erect proper pomel and hilt or point downwards transpiercing a human heart of the first.
