Based on a course of lectures delivered at McGill University, in part inspired by Wittgenstein's lectures at Cambridge, Watson applies Wittgenstein's philosophical principles to physics and the scientific method. Educated at Edinburgh & Cambridge, Watson was a student & friend of Wittgenstein's and lectured at Edinburgh before becoming Assistant Professor of Physics at McGill. Hardcover in jacket, as pictured. Light wear to book, lower corner bumped, affecting the rear cover and quite a few pages; price-clipped jacket rubbed with some tears & chipping.
