Brown publisher cloth with illustration and titling stamped in gilt. Square tight binding. Clean interior, save for the attractive bookplate of notable 19th-century British attorney Henry Mussenden Leathes on the front pastedown. Leathes was an officer in the army of Wellington during the Napoleonic Wars and served with the General at the Battle of Waterloo. 329pp. Binding with mild rubbing and moderate edge wear, including chips at spine ends and a split in the cloth along the rear joint.
