True first British printing (stated). Undated, however 1948. With original unclipped jacket (8/6). Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, few tears, quite considerable patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine/corners/back lower edge), creasing/rubbing to edges, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, few marks, patchy browning (including to spine), pushing/bumping to corners, rubbing, creasing/rubbing to front/back inner flaps, minor foxing/odd small mark/browning/little dustiness to reverse (white side), is a little grubby and is in poor condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small mark, patchy browning and minor pushing/rubbing/browning to head/tail of spine. Minor spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Inside boards/end-papers bit tanned with the odd small mark/spot of foxing. Odd small mark/mild foxing to top edge of pages. Odd small mark/spots of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Pages little tanned. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately.
