4to volume for Jan-June 1848.Missing front board and spine. Back board off. Text block tight and square. Contents very good with no foxing other than some tissue guards. Each issue has 1 or 2 steel engravings and a hand colored fashion plate. What makes this valuable is a poem by Poe on page 130 and a story by Walt Whitman in the June issue. Worthy of a rebind.
