Two programs. One a quarto sheet folded twice to form six pages, the other an octavo sheet folded once to form four pages; also laid in is a small errata slip. Fine. Two different programs from the 1961 poetry festival hosted by The Poetry Book Society Limited and held at The Mermaid Theatre in London with a statement by director John Wain. The first program gives an overview of the week's events, the festival patrons, and a list of poets, musicians, actors, and critics who are to perform. The second is a detailed list of each day's event and breakdown of performances. Those who made appearances included Sylvia Plath, Ted Hughes, Thomas Blackburn, Louis MacNiece, Ralph Richardson, Anthony Thwaite, among many others. Seller Inventory # 552672
