"Now the blue-green, clear waters of Ozark streams can be seen from the dry comfort of your favorite armchair. But as readers page through [Two Ozark Rivers], it's hard to believe that many will want to sit inside for long. The book is an invitation to the Missouri wilderness that is hard to refuse."--St. Louis Post-Dispatch
"A pupil of Ansel Adams, Schuchard also recalls Eliot Porter in the particularity, variety, and exquisite visual texture of his color work. He is a colorist of breathtaking mastery whose work belongs in every collection of landscape photography. Kohler's text is frosting on the cake--a graceful, limpid, and gently humorous account of both rivers in natural and human history."-- Booklist
"Everyone who has spent any time at all floating either the Current or the Jacks Fork should drop everything and march forthwith to the nearest bookstore to acquire without delay this outstanding book about two favorite streams for floaters."-- Springfield Magazine
"Oliver Schuchard's large-format color photos carry the reader along past the large and small wonders to be found on the Current and Jacks Fork, at times simply recording places and things, and on other occasions rising above the merely documentary to give lyrical illumination to the physical attributes that lure millions to the scenic riverways annually."--West Plains Daily Quill
