1st Edition 2nd Imp 1955. 2nd Imp of the this uncommon book. The book is part of the uniform edition of Greene's books but has four new stories and the remaining were reset that were not published in the 1947 version (nineteen stories) This volume of short stories was originally published in 1947 under the title Nineteen Stories. In this edition Graham Greene withdrew two stories The Lottery Ticket and The Other Side of the Border, and added four which were published in book form for the first time. They are The Hint of an Explanation, The Blue Film, Special Duties and The Destructor's. The book is very good++ and very bright. Contents good. The wrapper is very good++ and bright. All overseas orders with priority shipping (8 days+) will be sent by either tracked airsure or international signed for. The slower postal rates (14 days +) will be sent by standard airmail and will take longer to arrive. We recommend to all our customers to use the priority shipping as this is a much quicker and secure method of shipment.
All books where possible will be sent in wrap around cardboard boxes and bubble wrapped.
