Intact clean sunned condition pictorial covers and spine with some slight creasing and signs of handling. 78 clean slightly tanned pages of English text with both colour and b&w illustrations of artwork, no  inscriptions. Synopsis: The 19th Century Bird Drawings of J. M. W. Turner As Exhibited At The Tate Gallery Published For The Tate Gallery Exhibition Of Oct. 10, 1988 To Jan. 2, 1989. Turner painted these watercolours of birds for Walter Fawkes, his friend and patron between 1815 and 1820.
