Fair condition.Griffith Farran Browne & Co(no date mentioned but probably 1896-1897).First edition.Pictorial tan hardback(a couple of tears,nicks,scratch,pen marks,marks on the cover and spine) in fair condition,no Dj.Illustrated with b/w photos,however they have been coloured in my previous owner.Clean pages but tainted and aged on the outer edges,ink marks and writting on the first blank page of the book,small foxing marks,ink marks,nicks and creases on the edges of the pages,tear and some marks inside the front and back cover,pen marks and writting on the title page,the inside of the front cover is slightly loose.The book is in fair condition for its age but with some shelf wear.256pp.Rare and collectable book.The book contains 32 true stories from Scottish history,including:The Beginnings of Scottish History,The Monks of Iona,The Vikings,The Days of James IV,Montrose,The Union and many more.
