This is a rare catalogue published on the occasion of a 1982 exhibition of paintings by artists in the Transcendental Painting Group made 1939-1941, a time that marked a resurgence of interest in the group's activities. Included is an essay tracing the group's history by James Monte and Anne Glusker.
