Facsimile edition limited to 980 copies in like-new condition. Crafted in Italy between 1490 and 1495, the Torriani Book of Hours is a remarkable small codex attributed to Giovanni Ambrogio de Predi's artist studio. With dimensions of merely 3 x 2 inches (8 x 6 cm), it dazzles with vibrant, intricately detailed miniatures and a gilded, finely wrought silver binding. Nestled in the Château de Chantilly Library, this diminutive masterpiece is hailed as one of the museum's foremost treasures, featuring six full-page miniatures and 24 pages adorned with elaborate decorations. Remarkably, its original binding remains intact, a rarity among 15th-century codices. Amazing mini-book.
