Add to basket16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Full red cloth. 229 pp. B&W full-page illustrations in text. Spine ends bumped. Foxing to edges of text block. Dust jacket is lightly bumped and rubbed to extremities, small chips to corners, foxing to edges of flaps, some light creasing. Beginning in 3010 AD, when the brief flame of atomic energy has flickered and gone out, it tells of the life amid the ruins that remain of New York. It is a brutal and a savage life that is shown; but it is also a life of raw courage with a flaming drive toward the ending of the dark ignorance and superstition that have extinguished the Torch.
