Second series. First edition. Tall 8vo., contemporary half calf, cloth, viii, 181, (3)pp. With an engraved titlepage, 69 plates and a folding map. This copy has been professionally rebacked with a new calf spine, leather spine label, name on the first blank, there is some foxing to the edges of the plates but this is still a very nice copy. This is the second series, from the "Alps to Mentz" the first series was "Cologne to Mentz" published the same year. Seller Inventory # 27300
