Quarto; 3 preliminary leaves, ii, 2 leaves, 118, 129pp. A Very Good copy (extremities and inner hinges tape-strengthened; broadside tipped to ffep, which also has a previous owner's name and 'Darjeeling May 21, 1904') in publisher's green cloth lettered in gold. Part I (118 pages); Preparatory Series, Grammatical Notes, and Miscellaneous Exercises. Part II (129 pages); English-Tibetan vocabulary (upper corner trimmed for ease of use). Errata bound in and manuscript corrections made to text as indicated. Scarce book. The exercises were taken from Amundsen's 'Primer of Standard Tibetan,' published in Darjeeling the same year.
