THE THREE INVESTIGATORS FIND-YOUR-FATE RH #8 - THE CASE OF THE SAVAGE STATUE by M. V. Carey, illustrated by Tom Leonard, published by Random House, copyright 1987, First Printing (complete 1 - 9 numberline on copyright page), Reinforced Library Binding, white endpapers, illustrated front board. NOTE THERE WERE ONLY 4 THREE INVESTIGATOR BOOKS PUBLISHED IN THE "FIND-YOUR-FATE SERIES" (RH #1, #2, #7, & #8) AND THIS IS THE RAREST OF THE 4 BOOKS. VERY RARE HARDCOVER EDITION - ONLY SOLD TO LIBRARIES. ALL 4 OF THE THREE INVESTIGATOR "FIND-YOUR-FATE" SERIES WERE SOLD IN PAPERBACK-ONLY FORMAT. THE HARDCOVER EDITION WAS ONLY MADE WITH RE-ENFORCED HINGES (I.E. "REINFORCED LIBRARY BINDING") AND SOLD EXCLUSIVELY TO SCHOOL LIBRARIES. AS A RESULT VIRTUALLY EVERY SINGLE HARDCOVER COPY OF THIS BOOK THAT IS FOR SALE ONLY EXISTS AS A DISCARDED EX-LIBRARY BOOK. Book has no ex-library markings/stamps/stickers/card pocket or evidence of card pocket removal to front endpaper, title page, copyright page, rear endpaper or outer page edges, no creased page corners, no spine lean, slight age darkening/dust soiling to outer page edges (no foxing), endpapers are clean and free from discoloration or tape residue (faint evidence of moisture stain at internal hinges), no former owner's markings or used bookseller stamps/stickers inside, no wear to board edges or to board corners, hint of wear to spine tips, no soiling or staining, no dust rubbing to rear cover, no color tears just a hint of color rubbing lines to near board edges near spine, very slight spine sun darkening, no bumped board corners. Note: This book comes protected by a removable clear Brodart book cover (cover is not taped to book - it can be simply slipped off if desired) which prevents further rubbing/soiling damage to the outer boards. Any white marks/glare lines in the photo are simply glare from the flatbed scanner reacting to this Brodart cover (and are not actual defects with the book). Overall a FINE- book of a rare hardcover first printing Three Investigators book. I have a number of other hardcover and paperback Three Investigator books up for sale. …
