Item description from seller

Netley, Wakefield Press and the Embroiderers' Guild of South Australia, 1986. Quarto, 95 pages with nearly 100 illustrations (many in colour). Full maroon calf with an original embroidered design (126 × 96 mm) inset in the front cover; a few light indentations and a tiny scrape to the front cover; commercial bookplate on the verso of the front flyleaf; an excellent copy with a Mylar dustwrapper. One of only 100 specially bound copies, featuring one of eight different embroidery designs (copies of details of a seventeenth century British hanging panel with Biblical scenes, illustrated in full on the endpapers). Two 'Festival of Embroidery' cards are loosely inserted; one is signed by the author, the other gives details of the cover design and attributes this particular piece of work to local Guild member Alice Bosch.
