Fine: tight and square binding in sharp black boards; bright silver lettering; a little toning to the edge of the page block; previous owner's signature, placed and dated to the ffep ('Hong Kong 21st November, 1950'); Hong Kong bookseller's small stamp to the foot of the rfep; else, very crisp and clean. The unclipped dustwrapper (re-priced by a publisher's sticker over the original price) is Very Good: notably bright with vivid red type to the upper panel; chips to the spine tips and corners; 1cm tear with associated creasing to the head of the rear panel; modest toning to the spine; creasing to the vertical edge of the flaps; presented in a removable, archival-quality Brodart cover.
