Item description from seller

First Edition. 625pp. 9.5" tall. First edition. First printing. 1944 Princeton University Press. With scarce corrigenda laid in. Lacks jacket. Unfortunately, lacks the spine covering. Some mild rubbing to the extremities, with a small scar to the rear foreedge of the board. Wartime paper is quite thing as is expected and present in all copies of this. As a result, some scattered closed tears to the edges, under 1/4", with no paper loss. No writing discovered. A monumental work that changed the face (or birthed) modern economics. Von Neumann was a multi disciplinary science hero - this was one of his most important works. I note every flaw I find, so buy with confidence.
