Publishers catalogue dated 19/9/92 in part one and dated 4/10/94 in part two. Plates drawn by Wells in both volumes. With the Natural History bookplate of Ruth and Herbert Runsdorf in volume one. Bookplate removed from volume two. A very nice set of Wells very scarce first book which shows much more commonly as the second edition.
