Issue One contains poetry on Black life, Black uplift, and Black alienation, while Issue Two contains poetry that explores the political landscape with a number of poems having a pan-African scope; some poems in this issue include "Apartheid," "Why Malcolm Had to Leave," "Frustrations of a NeoRevolutionary," and "Political FatCats."
