13 page printed list of (glowing) testimonilas to Dr. Thomas Cunningham, Currie, Edinburgh. Cunningham hailed from Ireland and graduated in 1849. 18 testimonials - mostly brief but detail in some. Headed by Sir J.Y. Simpson, discoverer of Chloroform, under whom Cunningham would have worked at the Edinburgh Maternity hospital. All ated 1850. Cunningham died c.1860 and practised about Edinburgh.
