Folio. Unpaginated. Original bolted stiff gray wraps folded at hinge, illustrated with the Terra emblem and red and blue lettering on cover. Rare Verleih (distributor) exhibition catalog announcing twenty-eight 1939/40 feature film productions, 38 documentaries and 14 short films distributed by Terra. Each feature film title printed on stiff wraps adorned with graphics in color followed by one or two pages with portraits of the leading actor / actress. Most of these sections include drawings or photographs of scenes from the particular movie, printed in striking photogravure. Verso of title wraps with synopsis, names of director, actors, etc. The very first film listed is the notorious anti-Semitic "Jud Süà " by the infamous director, Veit Harlan, starring Ferdinand Marian, Werner Krauss, Heinrich George, and Kristina Sà derbaum. Documentaries and short films are listed at front with director and actors listed but without further elaboration in catalog. Text in German. Wraps with some wear along edges, small chips, creasing and light staining on front cover. The two pages with listings of documentaries and short films with wear mostly at foredge, mostly closed tears, creasing and small chips. Block with light wear at corners.
