Few authors write with such clarity as Joad. 228 pages, incl. index. A perfectly readable copy. The book is intact and tight, with slight browning to the page edges. It has a previous owner's name to back of the free front endpaper. Blue cloth boards with black lettering to spine; moderate wear (rubbing, bumping, a bit of fading). The black and yellow dustjacket is quite worn to the edges, including the spine, with a couple of larger tears, and has rubbing and creasing to the extremities and some browning and grubbiness. It is in a protective transparent cover. Book tight and clean.
