Item description from seller

Free postage in Australia. Rest of World please enquire for standard postage rates. A delightful first edition of epigrams illustrated by Fish. The jacket shows sign of wear but is worth saving. The pages are clean and easy to enjoy. 'What a woman wears says more about her than what she says', is a typical epigram from the intriguing author.

Store description

I am Ann Howard, an ex-London published writer living in Australia. I love books and I've collected books and talked with authors all my life so I have many rare books, signed copies and unusual books. I am still writing and publishing, but it is time for me to part for some of my beloved books, which is not easy. I have 22 of my own books in print, non-fiction, mostly featuring unwritten stories especially of women, children and migrants, using original photos and interviews. As I won quite a few competitions for short stories and poems, and have heard them broadcast and published in three countries, I now have the luxury of the time for writing fiction.
