Harsall painting), maps and three fold-out maps. This volume covers the development of Britain's armor program during World War I and between the wars and the program's near demise save for the efforts of advocates such as the author himself. Volume Two is illustrated with black and white photos, maps, line illustrations and 15+ fold-out maps. Volume Two picks up when the reality of World War II materialized just prior to the realization of the need for armor with the blitzkrieg of 1940.
