About this Item
First edition. Softcover 8vo in light gray wrappers printed in black and white, with pages printed in black and white on alternating sections of creme and yellow paper. Paginated 122-184 (ca. 62 pp.) Text in Dutch. Issue no. 4 of this long-running publication focusing on experimental and concrete poetry and the avant-garde. Edited by Belgian artist Paul de Vree. This issue with contributions by Paul de Wispelaere, Guillaume Apollinaire, Piet Mondrian, and Hans Arp among others. Also includes three advertisements for local businesses, including one for Galerie Ad Libitum's 1962 ZERO exhibition in Antwerp showcasing the work of Pol Bury, Heinz Mack, Yves Klein, Otto Piene, Piero Manzoni, and Jesús Rafael Soto among others. Very good with areas of sunning to covers, wear along margins on account of the slightly oversized covers, a single hard diagonal crease along upper back cover, including a small closed tear, and age toning throughout on account of the acid in the paper.
