Descripci�n: Octavo (21 cm.) VIII p�ginas incluida portada y anteportada, 424 p�ginas. Encuadernaci�n piel �poca, con tejuelo, y hierros dorados en el lomo; rueda dorada en los planos. Conservaci�n: Buen estado. Abundantes desgastes en la encuadernaci�n. Anteportada con sellos anterior propietario y ligeros puntos de polilla en algunas hojas del margen inferior sin afectar al texto. Revisado completo. Otros datos: Claudio Boutelou y Argaz (Aranjuez, 1774-Sevilla, 1842), fue un agr�nomo y bot�nico espa�ol de ascendencia francesa. Fue bisnieto del paisajista franc�s Esteban Boutelou I, famoso por sus trabajos en Aranjuez, donde fue jardinero mayor desde 1716, y en La Granja; tambi�n fue nieto de Esteban Boutelou II, quien sucedi� a su padre en Aranjuez, y hermano del tambi�n bot�nico Esteban Boutelou III. Estudi� agricultura y horticultura en Francia e Inglaterra gracias a una pensi�n real, y, m�s tarde, ingres� en el Jard�n Bot�nico de Madrid, espacio que lleg� a dirigir y donde ejerci� docencia, hasta su expulsi�n del jard�n en 1814 por su condici�n de afrancesado.
