Dust jacket rubbed with light soiling and foxing; nicks at edges; front flap's top corner is price-clipped. Maroon boards; bright gilt stamping to spine and front board; slight scuffing at spine ends and board corner tips. Slight foxing to text block edges; faint toning to endpapers; past owners name-address label on front free endpaper; two small unobtrusive stains at top margins of pages 140-141. Author's six-line ink inscription "To Dr. Warren Thompson | with very best | wishes as you follow | the trails to your | dreams. | Donald C Jackson" on the half-title page.
