Olomouc: Index, 1938. Octavo (21 × 15 cm). Original decorative wrappers; 42, [4] pp. From the Toyen estate, with the small rubber stamp "Succession Toyen." Very good. First edition of this volume of poems with wrappers and overall typographic design by Zden?k Rossmann. Published by the Moravian publishing house that also issued the eponymous leftist arts and culture journal, which featured contributions by Jaroslav Král, H. Kova?ík, Franti?ek Kaláb, L. Rado, J. Komárek, Bohuslav Fuchs, Ji?í Taufer, Robert Kone?ný, Toyen, ?tyrský, et al. This copy apparently from the library of Toyen, with the "Succession Toyen" rubber stamp to first leaf and inside of front wrapper. As of January 2024, KVK, OCLC show two copies outside the Czech Republic, at Cornell and Yale.
