Bright light orange-yellow cloth, fine. f/piece +xi+209, 5 further plates; small inoffensive impressed name stamp to front end-paper, faint hint of outer marginal tanning, otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked. Unclipped jacket (in protective sleeve as acquired, clean bright and unmarked but marred by c. 16 cm long thin chip across top edge centred on spine, with another short strip of same to top back wraparound, this exacerbated by jacket being slightly over-length. Price (1723-1791) was dissenting minister who supported for radical ideas of liberty and sympathies for both the American and French revolutions, in numerous writings, mostly originating as sermons. 15.5 cm x 23 cm.
