In near fine illustrated wrappers with the same design as the inner covers. Head and tail of spine of wrapper slightly rubbed and creased. No tears. Wrappers clean. 216mm x 182mm. 64 pages including list of illustrations to rear. ***Profusely illustrated with text about the production process and different forms and patterns and decorations of pottery and glass used etc. ***The purpose of the series was to increase the understanding of the world around us by linking visual and intellectual understanding. ***First impression of the true first edition in its original paper covers and outer paper wrappers, published in the immediate aftermath of World War Two in very nice bright collectable condition.
