Handsome dark red cloth with vibrant gilt stamping, spine ends lightly bumped. Some toning to edges; past owner's name stamp on top edge; small dark stain near top of fore-edge. Past owner's personal bookplate and name stamp (of University of Alabama Professor Emeritus of Mathematics Oscar Richard Ainsworth) on front pastedown. Interior pages are otherwise bright and clean. Binding is firm. A very good copy.
