Peter Master is Professor Emeritus of Applied Linguistics. He taught ESL for 17 years and then trained ESOL teachers for 17 years. He was the Co-Editor of English for Specific Purposes and is the author of English Grammar and Technical Writing, Responses to ESP, and several research articles and chapters, with a special focus on pedagogical grammar and the English article system.
