The book is green cloth-covered boards with gilt title on spine and blind stamped decorations on front and back (typical of pre 1865 publications). The book has light soiling with shelf edge wear and foxing on the interior. Several pages have creases at lower corner many of which occurred in the printing of the book. Elocution and vocal delivery as "both a science and as an art so arranged and exemplified as to make it easy of acquisition for private learners without a teacher - emphatically practical and theoretical". 371 pages plus an errata page.
