Hardback bound in tan cloth-covered boards with brown title on the spine. Book has very light soiling and a small bump at the spine; internally clean, tight and unmarked. The dust jacket has a rubbed area on the front and has tears and chips on back top edge. The author traces the history of Syracuse, New York from the traditions of the Onondaga Indians who first inhabited the area to the cosmopolitan area of 1969.
