Clipping with photo of author and her brothers tipped in inside front cover, gift inscription dated 1898 ffep. T.p. detached at hinge. Viii, 189pp., some light dampstaining to margins top corner to p. 6; does not affect contents. Very tight copy. 3 photos of Western US laid in.
