First edition, hardcover with a few loosely related pages of ephemera folded and laid in, the book has a slight lean to the binding, light bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, spots of soiling to the edges of the text block, a few brief pencil notes to the front end pages, and a previous owner's bookplate to the first free end page with their name/date written in blue marker on the front paste down. Otherwise, this is a solid, Near Very Good copy in a Very Good dust jacket, which has light bumps to the spine ends and corners, faint soiling to the head of the spine, and mild rubbing with a touch of edge wear to the covers.
