Item description from seller

Los Angeles: Stuff, [1979]. Unbound newsprint tabloid. 17-5/8 x 11-1/2 in. [32]pp.; illus. Leaves toned, with wear and chipping at spine ends, a few short edge tears. Good to very good. The tenth issue of this free Los Angeles monthly, edited and published from 1978-1985* by Steve Samiof, notable also as co-publisher with Melanie Nissen of seminal Los Angeles punk magazine Slash. The contents, particularly in these early issues, consist almost entirely of full-page ads for local businesses, which Samiof sold initially at the accessible rate of $50 a page. A publication with considerable appeal, both as a directory to a bygone LA scene, and as a treasure trove of edgy post-punk graphic design. Though a later issue boasts a circulation of 10,000 copies, Stuff is now quite scarce in the trade--even more surprisingly, entirely unaccounted for in OCLC.
