Item description from seller

86p, no ills. but some charts. The photo shows page 1 of the table of contents. PHOTOCOPY of this physical education master's thesis, which served as source material for Struby's later book on teaching riding. She queried dozens of leading teachers in all disciplines in order "to determine what teaching behaviors expert riding instructors use when teaching a new motor skill, how often the experts use the behavior, and how important the expert feels the behavior is." The respondents included Jeremy Beale, Fern Bittner, Tad Coffin, Al Dunning, Anne Kursinski, Katie Monahan, Patti Montali, Daivd O'Connor (misspelled O'Conner), Richard Shrake, James Wofford, etc. Struby taught for many years at Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship. Unbound sheets, duplicated typescript as issued.
