A very good copy of the first hard cover edition in a good+ (not price-clipped) dust-jacket; the original price was 28s. The text is wholly unmarked, pristine, and the green cloth binding with silver lettering on the spine is still quite bright and fresh in appearance. Faint discoloration to the upper corners of the boards, as from some damp-staining to the verso of the jacket at those points: unobtrusive. Previous owner's name stamped to the upper edge and margin side of the volume. Minor wear at the extremities of the jacket. A handsome copy of this important work.
