The Strange Case of Jonathan Swift and the Real Long John Silver was written by Robert A. Prather and has an Introduction by Ron D. Bryant. The book was published by Acclaim Press in 2007 and is a stated First Printing with the requisite number line. This copy has also been inscribed (to me) by Prather on the title page, then signed. (I am trying to cut back on the many, many books that I've collected over the years . . . don't know where my daughter can put them all.) It is not an ex-library copy and both the book and the dust jacket are in very good + condition. The book is 6 1/4" by 9 1/4" and has 344 pages with an Index, an Art and Resources section, a Bibliography, a Table of Contents and several black-and-white photographs and illustrations. "A fascinating thought-provoking look at the legendary lost Swift mine and its possible parallel to Robert Louis Stevenson's classic, Treasure Island. Put aside everything you've come to believe and allow Prather to expand your thinking. A thoroughly enticing read for inquisitive treasure hunters everywhere." To the previous quote I might add . . . in Kentucky. Thank you!.…
